Summit Overview

A Shared Agenda for the Future of Health

The health challenges facing nations are interconnected. Infectious diseases, rising non-communicable diseases, unequal access to care, workforce shortages, mental health needs and rapid technological change require solutions that extend beyond national borders.

The BRICS Health Innovation Summit 2027 aims to create a platform for collaboration across government, science, industry and civil society.

Building on the health commitments expressed in the 2026 BRICS declarations, the summit will focus on translating policy priorities into practical initiatives, collaborative research, responsible innovation and scalable models of healthcare delivery.

Our ambition is to connect the people and institutions that can turn health innovation into better outcomes for populations across BRICS countries and beyond.
